The Low Handicap team reached the league finals for the second year running; this year’s final was held at Ludlow Golf Course which proved to be a tough challenge for both teams.  The team consisting of Ben Upfield (Captain), Dean Pointon, Sam Cross, Mark Hewlett Jnr, Ian Boswell, Harry Evans, Rob Bell, and Luke Carroll took on a team from Little Lakes GC that had not lost all season. Wins for the pairings of Mark Jnr and Dean along with Ben and Harry forced a play-off. Unfortunately, on this occasion, it wasn’t meant to be with Little Lakes winning on the first play-off hole.  Congratulations to Little Lakes on the win and well played to all our players who represented the club over the season – reaching the final two years in succession is a real achievement.
