Dear Member,

Thank you for opening the new members section of the Gaudet Luce Golf & Leisure Complex website. It is to provide information for members which will increase your enjoyment and to use of all aspects of your club. The site has dedicated live news & competition results streams for each section (Gents, Seniors, Ladies, Juniors and the Academy). Members have easy navigation and are able to book tee times, competitions, check results and handicaps online

Established in 1995 Gaudet Luce Golf Club is 21 years old this year. It has developed in stages over the years to what are now well-defined courses providing interesting challenges for all abilities with the 18 hole Pheonix Course and the 9 hole par 3 Hadzor course. These are complimented by superb clubhouse facilities together with the Golf Shop on site and in the Worcester city centre, a 12 bay covered driving range, the Russel Adams Academy with an indoor coaching studio. On site the complex includes many other facilities such as a Childcare Nursery, fully equipped Fitness Gym, Hairdressing salon, Beauty & Therapy Salon, Back & Neck Pain Clinic and Sports Muscle Rehabilitation Centre.

Over the last three years Gaudet Luce Golf Club has led the way in growth and development. Since new membership categories were introduced in 2012, a staggering growth of 100% in membership numbers has been achieved. The club is now a major participating golf club in the county of Worcestershire and during the last two years it has won a number of National awards for its development and intuitive management.

Gaudet is a very vigorous club, with lots of differing happenings in each of the sections. This website is a window for you, not only about your section, but you can read about other sectors, enjoy regular competition results, social and mixed golf, future events etc, and other parts of the whole complex.

We also enjoy a varied and very popular programme of social events that run throughout the year, event information and ticket availability will also be via this area.

We are now entering the latest new stage in the clubs life, and the Fernihough family have pledged that the future will continue to be one of growth and development, with the benefits to the club members critical to that success. This website is designed to inform and involve you the member as much as possible.

The Gaudet Luce Company now employ 50 plus working to create and maintain the complex, we have over 60 volunteer members who give up their time and experience to help run the various sections committees. Transparency of all this information is key to the betterment of your membership and we have asked each section to use this media to communicate with you.

Thank you if you are an active member of our Golf & Leisure Complex, if not please don’t hesitate to contact us for more information and assistance to get more value from your membership.

Kind Regards,

Dave Worsfold

Dear Members and Visitors

Welcome, and thank you for visiting the Gaudet Luce website. I hope you find it informative.

I am honoured to be the Gaudet Luce Club Captain for 2022. Having been a member for over 15 years, I have seen a significant investment in the course and all the club facilities during this time. As a result, the club has a large and thriving membership and is one of the friendliest clubs in the County.

For those new to golf, the Russell Adams Coaching Academy is onsite to provide instruction and get you on the road to playing better golf. The main Phoenix 18-hole course offers a real challenge to golfers of all abilities, and this is complemented by the par 3 Hadzor course, driving range, putting green and chipping facilities.

The Captains Charities for 2022 are MacMillan Cancer Support and St Richard’s Hospice. MacMillan provide emotional, physical, and financial support to people diagnosed with cancer. St Richard’s Hospice is a local charity who care for people with a serious progressive illness.

I hope members and visitors alike will help support these 2 very worthy charities. To encourage this, look out for the Captains Pond that sits between the 10th and 18th holes. If your ball makes a splash, please donate some cash. In the Captains Jar in the Clubhouse please, not in the Pond!

Members, I would love to see as many of you as possible on Captains Day on Sunday 7th August. It will be an event you will not want to miss. Further details of this and the Captains away day will be provided in due course.

I wish everyone an enjoyable time whilst playing at Gaudet Luce.

My Best Wishes

Dean Pointon
