In glorious Autumn sunshine 124 ladies from Worcestershire and beyond, took part in Gaudet-Luce Golf Club’s annual Breast Cancer Charity Pairs Open which is held to raise funds for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven, a local charity that supports patients diagnosed with breast cancer.
A pink haze settled over the course as players were encouraged to wear ‘something pink’ for the event. Andrew Laing even provided pink flagsticks and inners for the day which was appreciated by many of the players. The course was in amazing condition – thank you greenkeepers – and many compliments were received.

Second Place: R Jones and B Rouse Moseley Golf Club
Third Place: C Lassen and D Best Droitwich Golf Club
There are too many people to thank individually but Jenny and Alec Fernihough and their team must be mentioned. Without their help and support, this event wouldn’t take place.
We raised a grand total of approx. £2,200 which will be presented to The Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven as soon as possible.
